St Bernadette's Football Club, Inc

Welcome to the SBFC Webpage as we prepare for the 2013 Winter Football Season!

The St Bernadette's Football Club (SBFC), represents the Catholic Parish of St Bernadette's Castle Hill, and the Junior Division of the St Columbas Soccer Club, enjoying player support from the Parish, School and Local Communities.

With a motto of "Strength Through Perseverance" and an "All in, Win or Lose" approach to the sport of football, SBFC fosters a non-competitive environment through which young players can develop their skills whilst promoting an active involvement in a team sport without the "pressure" which may be experienced elsewhere.

The Club runs teams comprising of boys and girls ranging in ages from under 6s to under 12s participating in the NSW Churches Football Association competition.

The under 6s and under 7s play a mini field game, which is no more than a six-a-side match of 15 minute halves.
The under 8s and under 9s will play 3/4 field with 9 a side, with their game lasting 40 minutes (two 20 minute halves).
The under 10s to under 12s play on a full field with their game also lasting 40 minutes (two 20 minute halves).

SBFC also runs a Fun Skills program for pre-school children of at least 4 years of age. This program focuses on the introduction to a team sport environment and basic football skills delivered via one training session per week.

All games are held on Saturday's, with training scheduled on a weeknight, between Tuesday and Friday.
